Else if youre after a different specific version get that one. But we want the DDU tool and the nvidia driver downloaded and available to us.

Accept warning and close the settings panel.
Select
GPU

Nvidia

"Clean and restart"

It can take a fair few minutes as its checking for ANY known specific driver files against its own list of them and removing and repairing.
It may look locked up. But basically mine takes between 3-5 minutes. Its been known to take 10 minutes. The hard cutoff for "its dead jim" is 30 minutes.

After the system restarts it should be in normal mode. And at that point. login. And install that GPU driver you downloaded earlier.
(I recommend not using GeForce experience personally. Cause its ass. But if you want or need it. Its fine.)
ohh I mean the GeForce experience thing, The driver will ask you when you install it if you want Driver AND GeForce experience, Or just driver. If you like it and its fine. Just chose the first option that has both.
TBH it does help keep your drivers updated

Theres a laptop, By a somewhat known brand, that the system controller in the motherboard deliberately lies to windows about how much memory is available to it (RAM) so that it can literally HAVE ANOTHER WHOLE OS SUSPENDED (in sleep mode) IN THE OTHER PART OF THE RAM....
You can literally switch between Windows and Linux by putting ONE to sleep. Then the motherboard LIES to the cpu and every other part of the system and swaps out its memory map, tells it to wake up, and it literally WAKES the other OS... as if nothing ever happened. It literally sleep walks AHAHAHA. There is NO spec of this. And yet one brand did it... ONCE.

its a segment they have about looking into this weird era where windows would take 4 minutes to boot. (The vista/7 era before SSDs were common) And how "Quick start" was brands looking for another gimmick to sell people. about providing a different usually smaller OS to do some basic tasks, like web/email sometimes pictures and videos. that booted very quick. instead of waiuting 4 minutes to boot full windows. And its about how there are osme booring implimentations, (like smal linux distros on the HDD that just booted faster because Windows is a nightmare. to tiny SSDS with that same linux distro literally installed into the motherboard. or that other example I gave about the sleepwalking laptop.
